In Fall of 2025 Husson University was recognized as a First-Gen Forward institution as a result of our efforts to support and celebrate the success of First-Generation college students. In recognition of the impressive achievement of becoming the first in their family to graduate with a college degree, Husson is encouraging students who identify as first-gen to proudly display these stoles during commencement as a part of their regalia.

For students who wish to participate, stoles can be picked up from the Center for Student Success or Department of Student Life starting on Monday April 27th or at this pop up event!
